Quantity of Oil
Method
Manual Application.
Oil should be applied at fixed intervals, usually about every eight hours, or as often as necessary to prevent the bearing areas from becoming dry.
Oil is applied with an oil filler or brush on the slack
side of the chain.
Drip Lubrication. Apply 5 to 20 drops of oil per minute A simple case can be used. for every strand of chain. Actual Oil from the oil cup is quantity depends on the speed. supplied by drip feeding.
Oil Bath Lubrication.
Chain should be submerged in oil 6 mm to 12 mm. If h is too large, the composition of the oil may change due to heat generated and lose some of its effectiveness.
The chain is installed in a
leak-free casing.

7.1.5 Inspection Chains are reliable components of a transmission machine. If you selected the proper chain and use it within its specified conditions, the chain will last for a long time. However, you must perform regular inspections on the chain to make sure it is in good condition and operating correctly. Perform inspections monthly or
