Special materials are modified plastics which are suitable for applications outside the standard. There are different options for a variety of different requirements. 1.3 Material code
Codes are assigned to each plastic to differentiate between the different plastic materi- als. The code has four digits and can be identified as a simplified code on most plastic components. This is embossed into the component on a material dial at the side of the chain links of the cable carrier.
